Niharika’s PhD research focuses on the design of conversational AI systems such as smart speakers like the Google Home. She is working on understanding the interaction between older adults with MCI and their careteams and conversational AI systems and how insights from this interaction can improve the design of conversational flow as it relates to explainability in AI systems and its impact on user trust.
