My research focuses on developing and deploying computational methods that facilitate automated behavior assessments, mainly in health related scenarios. I utilize various sensing modalities in an opportunistic manner to capture human behaviors and develop machine learning based methods for analyzing them. Specific focus is on challenging assessment scenarios with multivariate, sparsely annotated timeseries data. My overarching goal is to develop methods that allow for personalized, longitudinal behavior assessments in real-world scenarios -- all of which directly aligning with the overarching goals of AI Caring. I am co-leading the RT1 research thrust.
