My research focuses on developing AI-driven solutions to support older adults experiencing cognitive decline, helping them maintain independence while reducing the burden on caregivers. Through user-centered design and ethical AI integration, I explore how AI agents can navigate complex social dynamics within caregiving networks, fostering trust and autonomy. My work primarily addresses challenges faced by low-income populations, with the goal of creating inclusive and effective eldercare technologies.
My recent studies examine the ethical boundaries of AI intervention and the role of AI agents in balancing competing needs within caregiving relationships. Using qualitative and experimental methods, I investigate how AI can enhance care coordination while respecting user privacy and dignity. By leveraging insights from human-computer interaction and AI ethics, my research contributes to the development of scalable, cost-effective, and socially responsible AI systems that improve healthcare outcomes and align with national priorities.
