I am a Senior Project Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University in the Robotics Institute who works on interdisciplinary research in human-robot interaction and human-computer interaction. Specifically, I examine how people interact with social robots, how people interact with and understand virtual agents, and how technology (e.g., smartphone apps and robots) and human-computer interaction methods can improve the accessibility of public transportation and other travel for users with disabilities.
