Professor Larry Heck Elected to 2024 Class of National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellows

Georgia Tech celebrates Professor Larry Heck, executive director of the Machine Learning Center and a member of AI-CARING, on his election to the 2024 class of National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellows. This prestigious recognition honors his exceptional contributions to innovation, technology advancement, and research that have significantly benefited society and driven economic growth. A Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar and Fellow of the IEEE, Professor Heck is also an inventor with over 50 U.S. patents. His career spans both academia and industry, with notable roles at Viv Labs, Samsung, and Google Research.

He joins a distinguished group of innovators committed to advancing fields like artificial intelligence, speech recognition, and advanced computing.
